Monday Freebies #3

After the last 2 mondays with a collection of free tunes which were given away here comes another one. It's no different this time, bunch of really good new tunes are here starting with moombahton to continue with electro / bass heavy variations of house to finish with dubstep. Contact, courtesy of Foreign Beggars and Noisia has been one of the biggest tracks of the last year. It's still going strong along with all remixes. Today Trolley Snatcha remix has been given away for free so i'm passing it on to you. Rye Rye is one of my favourite female rappers. She's only 20 and she's got some amazing work behind her already especially collabs with MIA, Blaqstarr, Diplo, Count and Sinden and more. We can only imagine what's more to come from her. Her album is supposed to be out already but it's coming out soon so i'll keep you posted. Dj Sega and Rye just recently put out a Ryeott Powrr mixtape which includes some great remixes of her tracks. It's a mixtape full of high energy tunes including bmore, hiphop  and some electro induced tracks. Enjoy and Go! Pop! Bang!

A Skitzo / Dj Ahmaad new tracks

Dj Ahmaad aka A Skitzo is a familiar face on this blog. He's just made 2 new tracks, Don't Stop and Come Again (which is done with Rasheed). Both dubstep and both very good, i especially dig this Don't Stop track. I'm not very objective so you should listen for yourself. You can also listen and download his remix of Ayoba by Schlachtofbronx  which is probaby his best work so far in my opinion. I owe him a bigger post so watch this space for more news and music from A Skitzo. In the meantime check his myspace and soundcloud for more links and music.

Brodinski is known for being open to different genres of EDM. He's been one of the big names to jump on the moombahton train. It's no wonder, moombahton gets more and more fans every day. He just did a mix with all things moombahton and it's a big one. Grab it below, tracklist is after the jump.

Last night i accidentally found this mix and had much fun listening to it. House and electro all the way with typical french touch by Mehdi. He and Busy P just released "Let The Children Techno" compilation couple of days ago. Massive comp with tracks by talents such as Mr Oizo, Skream, Breakbot, Flying Lotus and much more. Skream keeps surprising us with his freeizm, this time he gave away 2 of his tunes again. Both of them amazing and both of them unreleased. Darkin it - as the name says, darker and heavier track, kind of reminds me of Filth. Jukebox - regular track in his sets which is quite different to Darkin it. The parties in Balkan Cafe continue. Balkans Hi Fi is hosting another party there on saturday night. Familiar faces will be playing: Dj Ahmaad (A Skitzo), Mr Mehikano and I. Concrete Jungle w/ Rasheed and Zupany HTC

Balkan Cafe in Sarajevo is open again. Last year some great parties happened there so hopefully it's gonna continue like that. This friday Concrete Jungle dudes are throwing another party. This time with guests from Novi Sad - Rasheed and Zupany HTC. Local support as always are: Said5, Riven and Concrete Jungle Vjs. Expect all things bass heavy and check out the facebook event here.

Clare Maguire remixes

Clare Maguire keeps turning heads with her great voice. I became a fan of her after Breakage remixed "Ain't Nobody". She's also collaborated with Chase & Status on their last album "No More Idols". Her latest single "The Last Dance" is coming out in a couple of days with original and 4 other remixes. 2 of those remixes have been given away for free so have a listen or download Chase & Status remix and Danny Byrds dnb take on the same track below.

Foamo new mix + new music

Mixes from Foamo have always been good news. His earlier mixes were always on a heavy repeat. He just launched his site Foamo.net and celebrated it with a new mix. Latest productions he's done with Randomer and a remix for Breakage (Fighting Fire) have been one of my favourite tracks lately. Listen to those tracks below. More raving action in Sarajevo this Saturday. It's Concrete Jungle boys again with second installment of "Kao Neki Dernek". This time there are some guests again: Queen of the Djashtown + a special guest from UK - Zion Flex. Local support of course: Riven, Said5 and Concrete Jungle Vjs. It's being held in Kino Bosna and parties there are always awesome. Expect a lot of heavy bass music, dubstep, dnb, jungle and anything in between. I <3 U So by Cassius has taken the world by storm as soon as it got out a couple of months ago. Remixes came out 2 days ago and now they're doing the same, especially that Skreams jungle remix. Baga Sound meets 4Jays

Another party this friday in Sarajevo. This is the second party that's being held in Amphitheatre in Youth House. That's a great venue and hopefully there'll be more and more partying over there. 4Jays (Audio Infunktion, Billain, Zlijay and Kara MC) are throwing this party bringing over the guests from Tuzla - Baga Sound. Visual support is by Repetitor VJz so expect explosion of colors and probably some crazy video-mapping. Music related you can expect different variations of bass music, from dub, roots, jungle, dnb  and dubstep. Check out the facebook event here and hit attending.

Schlachthofbronx - Nasty Bass Out Now

As i already wrote a couple of days ago, new Schlachthofbronx - Nasty Bass EP is out today on Mad Decent. All of the 4 tracks featured are really good as you could hear in the minimix. It sounds like they had some good fun making these. It's a mixture of  anything from cumbia, dancehall, rave and bass music. Canblaster - Master Of Complication EP

Nightshifters label is back here on the blog. This time with a brand new EP by Canblaster. This EP has got 4 original tracks and 4 remixes from Para-One and Teki Latex, Jubilee, Magnum and Bambounou. "Clockworks", the slowest track (132bpm) kicks this EP off with a soaring melody of reverberant House stabs and ticking watch beats. Going through more tracks on the EP, tracks get faster and more diverse: bass heavy 140bpm track - "Triple Ring", footwork/juke-like 160bpm "Lost in the shell" and 180 bpm "Masters of Chronicles" (try and put it into one genre). Barbra Streisand by Duck Sauce is still going strong. Still getting many plays on the radios as well as on parties. The track itself is a monstrous catchy tune and by  now you're already humming it. I found this fine remix of it by Darth & Vader (what about that name huh?). Anyway, Dark Side has taken over Barbra and she's changed a bit. This just came in my inbox and I was happy for it. It's always good to hear mixtapes by this dude because he always provides a fresh tunes in it whether it's by him or some other djs in the game. Free Gucci 2: The Burrrtish Edition

After last years Free Gucci mixtape nr. 1 done by Diplo here comes another one. This time Sinden had the opportunity to curate the mixtape and A&R the project. He got heaps of mad british producers to do the remixes of Guccis tracks. Even though i'm not admirer of Guccis works this mixtape is amazing.
