RZA has done the soundtrack to his and Tarantinos movie "The man with the iron fists" and you can listen and grab the whole album right here. There has been a remix contest for "Built for this" by Method Man, Freddie Gibbs and Streetlife which is now over. Audio Infunktion and Billain (aka Bootlegend) have been kinda late for the contest but both of them have done a remix for this track. Both of them very good and very different. Diplo - 3hour Halloween mixtape

This weeks edition of Diplo and Friends show on BBC 1Xtra was a halloween special with a guest - System D182. Long mix containing anything and everything and it's got that scary halloween feel to it. Dj Vadim live mix from ItisonFM 10years anniversary Sarajevo

Dj Vadim was playing in Sarajevo on may 26th for the 10th anniversary of Itison FM radio show (Bigups to Audio Infunktion). The party was fucking amazing and was the one to remember . Too bad for you if you were in Sarajevo and you've missed it. The atmosphere was great and the music was awesome. There was a lot of different music played by Dj Vadim from reggae and jungle to hip hop, breaks, dubstep and everything in between. Here's the recording of the live show from that night. Enjoy

Summer

Summer's been long and i've been enjoying myself a lot. The blog has suffered but i know that many of people will be happy that i'm back and that blog will be updated with new stuff. There's a couple of new things that i'm preparing for the blog and there are some posts waiting to be published.
First things first... I need to write something about music that's been in my headphones this summer. Of course there's been everything and anything but i'm gonna write about newish music (this year). Mix that's been played over and over again during  summer was Jamie xx mix (strangely obsessed with his music) for Benji B from february this year, SBTRKT album which is actually one of the best albums this year. Wiley's album has also been on the playlist alongside Jackmaster and Goldies Fabric mixes and many tracks and mixes by the likes of Canblaster, Sam Tiba, Bambounou, Foamo, AC Slater, Marble Players, Boddika, Joy O, Myd, Dark Sky, Bok Bok, Girl Unit, Roska and many many more. Mishka Keep Watch XXVI: Club Cheval

Latest in the Mishka Keep Watch mix series are the french boys Club Cheval. Canblaster, Myd, Pantheros666 and Sam Tiba made a very diverse mix starting with some hiphop and then continuing with mostly their tracks. Beastie Boys, one of my favourite rappers of all time are about to release their newest album. Long awaited 8th album from the hiphop/rock trio Hot Sauce Committee part 2 has been produced by them and Phillippe Zdar and is set to be released on may 3rd.  Because the clean version of the album has been leaked they are making their filthy dirty nasty version available for streaming. Here are 2 recent Mumdance mixes. This first one is live and b2b with Canblaster for the first hour and then Dillon Francis and Skeet Skeet join in. There's lot of new productions by each dj in the first mix and some tracks from the Canblaster & Mumdance 3 track EP. Second is his Mothers day mix he did for I D Magazine, tracklist is after the jump. Benji B - End of the year 2010

Somewhere in december 2010 BBC Radio 1 featured End of the year show. Benji B showcased the best tracks from 2010. It contains a lot of amazing tracks and takes you on a really good journey through 2010. Anything bass heavy from Uk Funky, house to dubstep and some hip hop also. Rye Rye - RYEot PowRR mixtape

Rye Rye is one of my favourite female rappers. She's only 20 and she's got some amazing work behind her already especially collabs with MIA, Blaqstarr, Diplo, Count and Sinden and more. We can only imagine what's more to come from her. Her album is supposed to be out already but it's coming out soon so i'll keep you posted. Dj Sega and Rye just recently put out a Ryeott Powrr mixtape which includes some great remixes of her tracks. It's a mixtape full of high energy tunes including bmore, hiphop  and some electro induced tracks. Enjoy and Go! Pop! Bang!

Free Gucci 2: The Burrrtish Edition

After last years Free Gucci mixtape nr. 1 done by Diplo here comes another one. This time Sinden had the opportunity to curate the mixtape and A&R the project. He got heaps of mad british producers to do the remixes of Guccis tracks. Even though i'm not admirer of Guccis works this mixtape is amazing. People like Rustie, Hudson Mohawke, Terror Danjah, Toddla T and many more did a great job and provided a lots of amazing remixes. Grab it below, tracklist is after the jump.

Mike Skinner just released a new The Streets mixtape which actually comes out with the album "Computers and Blues" (out february 7th) for those who bought this album early but now it's available for everybody. There are a lot of guests on this  mixtape with the likes of Wiley, Kano and much more. It also includes his "final recorded rap ever" as he already said that this is his last album. This post was ready this afternoon but i had to put it on hold because of other stuff and i thought that this is the most appropriate for the end of the day. Annie Mac uploaded this mix today. It's the one to keep you warm during these cold days. A bit different than i thought this would be. Much easier mix than any of my posts (especially today) with a lot of different stuff - trip hop, hip hop a bit of dubstep, everything and anything. All things slower and much more chill.  Great one though, perfect for tucking in some place warm and watching those snowflakes have fun. Enjoy

Girl Talk - All Day / free album

One of the masters of mashup - Girl Talk returns with his new album. It is a follow-up to his 2008 album "Feed The Animals". It's a 12 track and 71minutes long album compiled of 373 samples including artists from Aphex Twin to Black Sabbath and Cindi Lauper to George Clinton. Everything and anything, really. You can see all the samples used right here. He says this album is to be listened as a whole, tracks are separated only for easier navigation. The best thing about the album is that it's free, so grab the zip file below and check the tracklist after the jump.
