Dubstep Takeover / History of Dubstep

There was a dubstep takeover on BBCR1 and BBC 1Xtra on saturday. It was 12 hours of dubstep and i listened to about 9. My head was buzzin after that.
Most of you probably know about this but if you slept on it here's a homework for you. It was an amazing show, celebrating the best year for dubstep so far. There was a lot of talk about where's dubstep now, where it has been and where's it going. A lot of guests in the studio, soundclash between London, Manchester, Bristol and Midlands where London won (totally deserved, especially with that Skream mix). Benji Bs history of dubstep part and Crissy Criss future of dubstep.
It got me thinking - when did i get involved in the whole dubstep thing? It was about 2007/08 with notorious Night (Benga & Coki) and Benga & Skream playing on Exit Festival (2008). It was ok to me but i wasn't all crazy about it. At the end of 2008 i got hooked on it totally. I even played dubstep at my first gig (may 2009). What about you?
The best thing on the whole dubstep takeover for me was the Benji B part. His part was about a history of dubstep and he talks about artists, labels and clubnights responsible for what dubstep is today. Going from the beginning around year 2000 and tracks by the likes of Oris Jay, El-B and Zed Bias, taking us to Magnetic Man, Doctor P and a current state of dubstep. Grab this part below, tracklist and more mixes for download are after the jump. Enjoy
