A Skitzo / Dj Ahmaad new tracks

Familiar face right here - A Skitzo (Dj Ahmaad) has got some new(ish) tracks up on his soundcloud.  All the tracks are 4x4 house tunes and you can hear that he's constantly improving his production skills. All of them sound good and i bet he's got more goodies cooking up in his kitchen. Out of these 4 tunes my favourites are L... In Me and the latest track Lucid Dreams. I feel stupid whenever i need to write something about some of the guys from Sarajevo because i'm subjective so i will let the music do the talking. Mucha Lucha w/ The Funk Hunters

This friday there's another Mucha Lucha block party going on. This time the main guests come from Canada - The Funk Hunters. They have released their music on labels like Ghetto Funk, Roca Records, Fort Knox Recordings etc. and they run their own label - ReSoul Records. You can expect their set to be full of funk, breaks, dubstep, dnb and anything in between together with their live mashups and remixes.They will be playing on 4 decks with the visual show too and local support will be Mr Mehikano and Audio Infunktion. There will be more raving action in Sarajevo this weekend. There's the Bass Express event taking place in Kriterion on saturday with special guest Jacky Murda alongside Voodoocoder, Zlijay and Balkans Hi Fi. Hideout Festival promo parties Sarajevo

Everybody already knows about the Hideout festival and it's crazy lineup. I'm still thinking about the possibilities of going there and hopefully I'll be able to go. This weekend ahead of us is the Hideout festival launch weekend with 2 promo parties happening. First one is in So.ba with Codex Crew, Kontra Djz and Repetitor Vjz, you can see more about it here. The second one is in Kriterion with Jabbaton Crew and A Skitzo/Dj Ahmaad, more about that one right here. Anyways you have 2 good reasons for saturday and sunday hangovers so prepare your dancing shoes and see you there.

Mucha Lucha NYE

Are you in Sarajevo for the new year's eve? If that's the case than you don't have much options but one of the rare good ones is Mucha Lucha NYE party. Pool Party actually considering it's being held in the Aqua Center "Termalna Riviera". Halloween party with 4Jays

4Jays are back with their parties. Next one is a halloween party which takes place tomorrow in a Youth House amphitheater, Sarajevo. Billain, Audio Infunktion, Zlijay and El Karinho will be there for your audio needs and Repetitor Vjz for the visual support. Plastic Fest 2011

Plastic Fest took place in Sarajevo last year and it went down really well. The second edition takes place this year during the course of 4 days and in 2 different venues. It'll be about different genres of music from breaks, electro, bass heavy house to dub, dubstep, drum and bass and everything in between with domestic forces and guests from Jamaica, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia. Burn Babylon Burn

Next weekend is reserved for a soundsystem culture festival on the olympic mountain Igman near Sarajevo. It takes place on 24th and 25th June 2011 at an altitude of 1300 meters at a modern day mountain home - "ULJU Boris Smoje". There will be 14 of us djing there with half of us playing dub/reggae and other half playing everything bass heavy from house, breaks, garage, drum and bass, dubstep and everything in between. There will be something for everybody and since this is the first time something like this is happening it is not to be missed. Concrete Jungle boys are throwing another party this saturday in Balkan Cafe. This time the guest is Side One from Belgrade, dude who gained recognition from the likes of LTJ Bukem, Crissy Criss and more. Mucha Lucha Clubnight vol. 2

Mucha Lucha club night vol. 2 takes place this friday in BKC Sarajevo. Main guests are Telephunken from Spain. They'll be playing live as a band and we'll be able to hear a Telephunken Dj set also. Local support are Mr Mehikano on the decks and Repetitor Vjz on visuals. Expect everything from funky and breaks over hiphop to dubstep and dnb. Another party by 4Jays this saturday. This time they're bringing in Marc Hype from Germany. Dude who's been around for a while will be presenting his skills with mashup of different styles combining mostly funk, breaks and hiphop. Kriterion Opening Party / Friday

Kriterion Art Cinema Sarajevo is opening this friday. Besides art movies screenings, Kriterion will give an opportunity to young people for promotion and presentation of their work in all areas of art and creative expression. It's a reconstructed and redesigned old cinema and by the pictures i've seen it looks great. Opening party is being held on friday starting at 21h with Dj Ahmaad, Zlijay, Dj Zoka, Optimus Prime, Dj Aldin and Repetitor Vjz. Be sure to check out the facebook event for more info.

Molimaoizm

Molimao is a t-shirt brand made by my good friend Sandin aka Dream83. I already wrote about Molimao before but if you've missed it read more about it here. Latest collection created much hype and people's reaction has been great. Molimao website has also been launched and worldwide shipping has begun. Molimao mix series also started couple of months ago and after the first mix, I've recorded a mix nr. 2. I tried to make kind of easier mix but it got a bit messier towards the end. It represents music i like and styles, artists and labels I'm into. It contains mostly newish tracks, some bit older and that last track from 2002. I hope you'll like it. Funkanomics / may 20th / Sarajevo

Funkanomics are coming to our city on may 20th. 4Jays are throwing this party and it's gonna be held in the amphitheathre of the Youth House. German trio who rock dancefloors with their mixture of breaks, funk, hiphop, electro and dubstep are gonna present theirselves with unique set on 4 turntables, 2 cdjs, samplers, fx units and heaps of good music. Kryptic Minds / Sarajevo / May 7th

Dubstep heavyweights Kryptic Minds are coming to Sarajevo on may 7th. As most of you know Outlook Festival will be held in Croatia in september and this is actually an Outlook Festival promo party they're doing with Burn and Kontra Djz. It will be held in an amphitheatre of Youth House. Local support of course are Kontra DJz with Repetitor Vjz on visuals.
